Nebraska Traditional Archers (NTA) represents traditional archers at the state and national levels, bringing together people who share a passion for traditional archery equipment and methods. Founded on the principle "We promise to keep it simple," the organization focuses on responsible, ethical bowhunting practices and preserving traditional archery skills for future generations.
The club runs multiple competitive and recreational shooting events throughout the year:

| Cost | $25/year, $75/3-year, $165 lifetime |
| Discounts | Reduced shooting rates at all NTA events |
| Events | Annual banquet, quarterly meetings, raffles |

| Community | Hunt partner matchmaking, mentorship opportunities |
Monthly President's Notes keep members informed on club activities, event schedules, and traditional archery topics.
NTA operates with an elected board of directors and officers who manage event coordination, finances, and club direction. The board typically includes 12-14 members with designated positions for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Regular meetings happen quarterly to handle business, discuss upcoming shoots, and gather member feedback.
The club sanctions 3D archery competitions that attract traditional and compound bow shooters. The 2020 Western Extreme Shoot in Chadron drew 73 competitors and received sponsorship from major outdoor brands including Kifaru International, First Lite, Sitka, Hanwag Boots, and Traditional Bowhunter Magazine.
The club emphasizes fair chase principles and strict adherence to ethical bowhunting standards in all activities and member conduct.
NTA invests in the next generation of archers through the kids' league program, which teaches fundamentals and technique in a relaxed, supportive environment. The club has purchased youth bows specifically for this program thanks to member donations. Kids can shoot traditional or compound bows and are welcome at all events.
