The river and creek bottoms create ideal bowhunting habitat with steep draws where deer bed. Open, choppy grasslands hold antelope. Trail cameras and in-field glassing prepare each hunt. For whitetail, expect 120"–150" bucks (120" minimum imposed). Mule deer typically range 140"–160". Antelope average 50–60 yard shot distances over open terrain.
Muzzleloader season (December 1–31) brings fresh deer moving in for winter, and the cold means ground blinds with heaters for morning and evening transitions.
Drawn Blood Policy: Any arrow or bullet that fatally hits an animal is yours, whether recovered or not. If an animal is hit but not recovered, you cannot continue hunting another animal (determined by guide/landowner).
Licensing/tags, travel to/from the hunt, meat processing/shipping, trophy mounting/shipping.
