Full description and what we offer
Based in Henderson, Nevada, SilverGrand Outfitters guides hunts across Nevada and Arizona's top trophy units. Owner Bruce Hudson holds a Master Guide license and operates with full statewide authorization and special use permits in both states.
The signature draw here. Nevada bugle hunts (mid-September through October) and Arizona early bull elk hunts (late September) put you after bugling bulls—the real deal for serious hunters. Nevada archery and muzzleloader hunts are limited and highly favored; if you draw, you're locked out for 7 years. Arizona rotates units yearly to maintain quality, offering centerfire, muzzleloader, and archery formats with decent draw odds in most units.
The Arizona Strip (Unit 13B) is the most coveted public lands mule deer tag in the Western states—2,000 head spread across 3,200 square miles with great genetics and limited tags.
Nevada muzzleloader hunts run September (bucks in summer pastures) and November (true rut hunting). As a Master Guide, Hudson can apply in the Nevada Restricted Guided Hunt (1235) with clients—much better odds than the general April draw. For Arizona, 13B is the trophy. Early to mid-November hunts put you near rut activity on primitive roads where big bucks actually live past maturity.
Nevada and Arizona antelope hunts use multiple formats: - Archery blinds at waterholes (20–30 yard shots) - Any legal weapon hunts with solid client success - Muzzleloader hunts in Arizona (scopes legal on smokepoles)
Draw odds are very good for primitive weapon hunts, with some Nevada hunts drawable with zero bonus points.
Desert bighorn sheep hunts in Nevada and northwest Arizona (Region 3) run November through December. Physical, demanding, rewarding—and Hudson spends significant time scouting to find the best ram for each client.
