Own Tac-Aim Firearms Instruction?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Buddy Morton has been teaching firearms instruction since 1990, when he earned his NRA Law Enforcement range master certification—a credential he maintains today. He was one of Nevada's first CCW instructors in 1996, worked as armed security for a decade, and continues his own training in handgun, shotgun, rifle, and edged weapons.
Upon completion, you receive a certificate to submit to your county sheriff's office as part of your CCW application. The sheriff's office processes background checks, fingerprints, and ID card issuance (approximately $100 additional). Processing takes up to 120 days, and permits are valid for 5 years.
Note: This is a CCW course, not basic firearms training. You should already know how to safely operate your firearm before attending.
By appointment
Why lower prices than competitors? Buddy says it plainly: "Passion, not profit." He's built this business around making quality firearms training accessible to responsible adults who want to legally carry for self-defense.
Tac-Aim exists to help responsible adults obtain CCW permits and build solid self-defense skills. Beyond the certification, Buddy focuses on fostering appreciation for the Second Amendment and encouraging informed voting on gun rights.
