Full description and what we offer
National Triad Defense brings a collaborative approach to firearms education in the Las Vegas area. Founded on veteran principles, they focus on building community rather than competing—pulling together with other instructors and sharing educational best practices.
Their flagship offering is the Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) class. The 8-hour course covers handgun safety, operation, ownership, and Nevada state law. You'll shoot a qualification round and take a written test (70% to pass). What sets them apart: their multi-state option gets you CCW reciprocity in almost 40 states—Nevada, Arizona, Florida, and Utah included.
Class Options & Pricing:
| Course | Duration | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Nevada CCW (full) | 9am–5pm | $100 |
| Multi-State CCW | 9am–5pm | $120 |
| Nevada Renewal | 1pm–5pm | $75 |
| HR-218 (Ret. LE) | 4pm start | $35 |
Classes are limited—reserve early. All multi-state students must attend the full 9am–5pm course.
You'll need a valid ID, your own firearm (semi-auto or revolver), 50 rounds minimum, eye/ear protection, and plenty of water. Lunch and breaks included.
They offer basic and advanced handgun and rifle courses alongside the CCW instruction. The emphasis is on keeping education current—they study new sciences and technology to ensure students get the most relevant, up-to-date training available.
"Firearms education is paramount in the fight to protect our Second Amendment rights. The more you know, the greater your predictability of success."
