Full description and what we offer
Slippery Bullets manufactures polymer-coated cast lead bullets for reloaders who want quality ammunition at a fraction of factory prices. Operating as a local New Hampshire bullet maker, they focus on what reloaders actually need: consistent sizing, reliable coatings, and competitive pricing.
Their bullets use premium certified lead alloys—no scrap lead. They offer two distinct alloy options:
The coating is premium polymer, not powder coat. This matters because powder coat can burn off or create leading issues; their polymer coating is designed specifically for bullets and handles magnum velocities without problems.
Their inventory spans:
| Caliber | Popular Loads |
|---|---|
| 9MM | 130gr RN, 9MM/38 Super options |
| .30 Caliber | 115gr, 135gr, 300 Blackout 240gr |
| .38/.357 | 105gr, 125gr, 147gr, 148gr WC, 158gr SWC |
| .380 ACP | 95gr RN |
| .38-55 | 245gr FP |
| .40 S&W | 180gr RN |
| .41 Magnum | 225gr RNFP |
| .44 Special | 200gr RNFP |
| .45 Caliber | Multiple options |
| 45/70 | Government load options |
| .32 Caliber | 78gr, 100gr RNFP |
Bullet Sizing Note: All bullets are sized to common cast specifications (example: 9MM at .356 diameter vs. jacketed .355). They'll do custom sizes if you need a different diameter for your barrel. Email them at [email protected] to arrange it.
Every 500 bullets purchased enters you into their annual Dillon XL750 giveaway—a complete press setup in your chosen caliber. They've also announced upcoming Mark 7 Apex 10 equipment giveaways.
They recommend using cast bullet load data from a quality reloading manual. One benefit of casting your own is customization—they've tested their bullets to magnum velocities without issues. The Cowboy Alloy is particularly good for lower-velocity competition loads but works equally well in standard handloads.
