Specialized Training Solutions was founded in 2020 by Mac Cashin, a certified New Hampshire Firearms Instructor with 17 years of law enforcement experience and Master Class USPSA competition credentials. The operation is fully insured and has access to qualified adjunct instructors for specialized courses.

Basic Firearms Safety Class ($150, 4+ hours) For shooters new to firearms. Covers gun types, functions, nomenclature, ammunition selection, safe handling, and NH self-defense law.

Beginner Pistol / "Handgun 101" ($200, 6 hours) Builds the "shooting package" with weapon manipulation, reloading, drawing from holster, trigger control, sights/dot usage, transitions, and movement.

Ladies' Night ($160, 7 hours) Popular women-focused class addressing challenges specific to female shooters—gun selection, holster options, EDC considerations, and myth-busting. No egos, no testosterone.

EDC / Concealed Carry Handgun ($175, 8 hours) For intermediate shooters carrying for self-defense. Advanced techniques include movement, one-hand shooting, shooting from positions, cover use, and drawing from concealment. Physically demanding.

Intro to Red Dot Sights (RDS) ($200, 8 hours) Target-focused shooting with red dot optics. Covers RDS types, mounting, dot sizes, batteries, holster considerations, and maintenance.

USPSA Skill Builder ($160, 8 hours) For shooters interested in competitive pistol. Drills and skills for first-time match success in USPSA, IDPA, or 3-Gun.

Revolver Skill Builder with 6 Gun Ferguson ($175, 7 hours) Instructor Ferguson has 30+ years of firearms teaching and law enforcement revolver instruction. Full-size revolvers and snub-nose options covered.

Intro to AR Platform ($175, 8 hours) Beginners learn AR types, function, manipulation, zeroing, field stripping, maintenance, and accessory selection (sights, dots, slings, lights).

Rifle Skill Builder ($180, 7 hours) Intermediate training covering stoppages, reloading, rapid presentation, multiple positions, movement, and moving targets. Requires baseline competency.

Shotgun ("Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun!") ($125-$175, 6 hours) Revives shotgun skills for home defense, drones, and tactics. Fundamentals, movement drills, and building proficiency with pumps or autos.

Private Lessons ($180/person for 3 hours, max 4 people) One-on-one instruction tailored to individual needs—from absolute beginner to skill refinement. Flexible scheduling and progression-focused.

Law Enforcement Classes Department-wide qualifications, remedial training, and advanced courses including CQB and DMR instruction. STS can travel to your range with portable systems.
