Ammonoosuc Valley Fish & Game Club celebrated its centennial in 2024, operating continuously since 1924 at their facility on Route 112 in Bath. What started as a local hunters club has evolved into a full-service community shooting range and education hub for central New Hampshire and Vermont.
The club maintains multiple shooting disciplines on their grounds:
- •Trap Shooting – Regular Tuesday (4 pm) and Sunday (9 am) trap sessions
- •Pistol Events – Periodic shooting events for handgun practice
- •Black Powder & Muzzleloader – Seasonal fun shoots, especially around hunting season
- •22 Rifle Shooting – "Lollipop Shoots" and .22 fun events for members
- •Archery – Equipment and instruction available; kids' compound bows on-site
- •Specialty Events – Egg Shoot, Card Shoot, Cowboy Action Shooting
Range is located at 1463 Wild Ammonoosuc Road, Route 112, Bath, NH 03740. Check their calendar before visiting—range closes for Hunter Education courses throughout the year.
The club is an official venue for New Hampshire Hunter Education courses:

| Traditional 2-Day Course | Early September |

Enrollment happens through the NH Hunter Education website—the club doesn't handle registration directly. They're also partnering with NH 4-H Shooting Sports Program, offering archery and firearms instruction to youth. The club actively recruits volunteer instructors for the 4-H program.
