That philosophy still runs the shop today. Walk in and they'll talk through what you're looking for, show you samples, answer your questions, and if you need it—they'll teach you how to field strip, hold, aim, and load properly. Most gun shops won't do that. Legend does.

For Online Buyers - Transfer service: $60 for long guns, $61 for handguns - $15 per additional firearm transferred at the same time (all prices include NICS) - Every firearm physically inspected when it arrives - Magazine compliance work for New Jersey (high-capacity magazines modified or destroyed, $25/mag) - Multiple handgun holding service (no charge if 30-day window expires)

Have a gun you want to move? Legend offers three paths:

1. Direct purchase — They'll buy it outright at fair market value 2. Consignment — 15% commission when it sells 3. Auction sale — 15% plus any auction site fees (for harder-to-move items)

If you're buying a gun from a private party, both of you can meet at Legend to complete the transfer legally: - You and seller come in together - Firearm goes into their inventory, you get a receipt - Buyer fills out NICS (typically takes a few days) - Transfer completes once background check clears

• •Exception: Immediate family and law enforcement are exempt from this process.

New Jersey finally opened concealed carry to everyone. Legend handles qualification and training: - Freedom Firearms Training classes - Full CCW permit guidance - NJ State compliance documentation

New Jersey's 30-day limitation between handgun purchases can be bypassed with an exemption: - Submit NJ SP Form 15 and Form 16 to NJ State Police via your local PD - Requires firearm serial numbers and signatures from both you and Legend - Takes about 2-3 weeks - No limit on number of exemptions or handguns you can pick up

Legend handles the paperwork on their end.

What to Include: - If you're an FFL: Copy of your FFL in the box - If you're a private citizen: Legible copy of your driver's license with license number clearly visible

Firearms arriving with defaced or illegible driver's license copies will be returned to sender
