Old Bridge Rifle Pistol Club operates as a private, member-only facility at 95 Maple Street, Old Bridge, NJ. It's been a hub for competitive shooters in central New Jersey for over 60 years, hosting sanctioned matches and leagues across multiple disciplines.
This isn't a range that rents guns or sells ammunition to walk-ins. OBRPC is built around competitive shooting disciplines. The club maintains both indoor and outdoor ranges and runs regular leagues and matches for members and registered competitors.

You show up, move between obstacles, and shoot for speed and accuracy. First and third Friday, starting around 6:30 PM. Registration caps at 25 competitors through PracticeScore. New shooters must observe one match before competing. You need a safe pistol, minimum 3 magazines (4+ recommended), and 100 rounds. Most nights run 4 stages with 12-32 rounds each.

Any revolver from 9mm to .45 caliber. 6-shot or 8-shot, reloaded with moon-clips or speed-loaders (minimum 4). Registration through Steel Scoring.

PPC started as a revolver game and now includes semi-autos and .22LR. Iron sights required at regulation matches. Club matches allow .22 autos, optics, and compensated race guns. Multiple divisions accommodate different handgun types. Beginner-friendly.

Low-pressure steel shooting designed for all skill levels. .22 Long Rifle pistols and rifles with iron sights or optics. No holsters, no movement required. Strings have up to 7 targets, 11 rounds maximum per string. Best 4 of 5 strings scored. Minimum 5 magazines required. Register through Steel Scoring.

25 clays from each stand, 50 birds total. Pumps, semi-autos, and double barrels welcome. Bring two boxes of #7–#9 birdshot. Clay birds provided. Manual throwers adjusted for singles and doubles. Costs: $10 members, $20 non-members. Annual Turkey Shoot every November—high score wins the bird.
Members rotate manning the manual bird throwers, so helping out is expected.
OBRPC requires NJ Firearms Identification Card and NRA membership (100% NRA club, affiliated with CMP).
Individual Membership: - Initiation: $320 (one-time, non-refundable) - Annual dues: $384 (including NJ sales tax) - Service commitment: 10 hours per year
Family Membership: - Spouses, significant others, and dependent children under 23 - Must be living at home or full-time student - Annual dues: 60% of Active member rate - Initiation fees waived

Most matches require online registration through PracticeScore or Steel Scoring. Indoor Action limits entries to 25 competitors. All new shooters must observe before competing.
OBRPC does not rent firearms, ammunition, equipment, or facilities to the public. Member access only.
Established in 1963 and affiliated with both the NRA and Civilian Marksmanship Program, Old Bridge Rifle Pistol Club remains central New Jersey's destination for competitive shooting sports.
