Full description and what we offer
Range 129 operates an NSSF 5-Star rated facility with three dedicated range systems. The pistol range features 20 indoor lanes at 25 yards split into two 10-lane bays. The rifle range has 9 lanes at 100 yards and is rated to safely handle rounds from 22LR to 50BMG—rare for indoor facilities on the East Coast. Archery shooters get 13 indoor lanes at 16 yards, plus outdoor standard target range and 3D target range extending to 60 yards.
All ranges require newly manufactured commercial ammunition only. Reloaded ammo, steel core, tracers, armor-piercing, incendiary, and exotic rounds are prohibited. Shotguns are limited to slugs only.
The retail showroom stocks a rotating inventory of major brands. If you don't see what you want in stock, Range 129 can special order—they say "It will be worth the wait." They also customize AOWs and Others on-site.
Range 129 offers classes from basic handgun courses through advanced instruction. Private firearm cleaning and private archery lessons available by appointment. Holster draw training available in designated lanes for those who complete their Basic Holster course.
Every shooter watches a safety video or receives in-person briefing from Range Safety Officers before shooting. Range 129 enforces the Four Universal Rules of Gun Safety plus 29 facility-specific rules covering everything from ammunition specifications to dress code (closed-toe shoes required—hot brass is serious business).
Age Requirements: - 6 years old minimum for archery (with parent/guardian) - 10 years old minimum for firearms (with parent/guardian if under 18) - 18 years old to rent long guns - 21 years old to rent handguns
