Tenafly Rifle & Pistol Club

Founded in 1916, Tenafly Rifle & Pistol Club is a distinguished member-based shooting organization dedicated to promoting safe firearm handling, proper marksmanship, and responsible recreational shooting among community members.

Our club features multiple shooting venues:

• •Indoor Pistol Range - Dedicated centerfire handgun shooting with 13 ports at 25-yard distance
• •Gallery .22 LR Range - Old-fashioned gallery with moving targets; .22 CB loads only
• •Rifle Range - Dedicated rifle shooting facilities
• •Action Pistol Events - Dynamic shooting competitions for members

NRA Junior Rifle Certification Courses - Our NRA-certified instructors teach a comprehensive 6-week program (September through May) for ages 10-18. Students learn rifle safety, operation, ammunition handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and more. All rifles and ammunition are provided. Small class sizes ensure individual attention. A Boy Scout rifle merit badge counselor is on staff.

• •Member Locker Storage - Secure locker space available for a nominal fee
• •Target Equipment - Target holders for shooting at various distances

Permitted Firearms: - Centerfire handguns with standard loads (no magnum loads or bottleneck cartridges) - .22 LR rimfire handguns and rifles - Pistol caliber carbines
