Full description and what to expect
IDPA match at Parma Rod and Gun Club—defensive pistol competition that tests draw speed, accuracy, and decision-making under time pressure with realistic scenarios. You'll run multiple stages that use cover and movement, not just paper targets downrange.
Matches run across six divisions, so your setup fits somewhere whether you're carrying a full-size 1911, a compact 9mm, or a revolver. Each stage presents a problem: threats to prioritize, targets behind cover, reload decisions. You see where the better shooters differ, and you get better fast.
