Full description and what we offer
Los Lunas Gun Club started in early 2011 as a 501(c)(7) non-profit corporation registered with the State of New Mexico. The club was founded by Valencia County citizens with three core objectives: preserve Second Amendment rights, provide training in safe and responsible firearm use, and create a space where shooters can compete, practice, and build community.
"We are a group of patriotic, hardworking Americans who want to preserve the rights granted to all United States citizens by the Second Amendment."
The club is proudly affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA). All LLGC members must maintain active NRA membership and present proof during the application process.
Members and their guests can use the facility for target practice, sighting in weapons, and organized competitions. The club also maintains a list of approved instructors for members seeking formal training.
Dues Structure - Regular (18-59 years): $125/year - Senior (60+ years): $100/year - Annual assessment based on acceptance date
The club emphasizes safety culture with a Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO) overseeing all operations. Educational resources cover gun range etiquette, safe reholstering, pistol slide operation, and loading/unloading techniques. Seven approved instructors are available for specialized training.
