Full description and what we offer
Sierra Blanca Outfitters is owned and operated by Peter Romero, a registered New Mexico guide and outfitter with 10+ years of experience. Peter built this operation by doing the work himself first—he's guided for multiple outfitters and learned what separates mediocre hunts from trophy hunts. He brought together a team of licensed, insured guides who share one approach: spend the time scouting before clients arrive.
"Most of your hunt starts before you arrive. We spend countless hours scouting and patterning animals so that when you arrive ready to hunt, we are too."

Hunts take place on both public and private land across multiple New Mexico units. Public land hunts use the draw system, which increases odds versus preference points. If you don't draw, Sierra Blanca offers guaranteed landowner tags on private property.
"We welcome all hunters; young, old, and the mobility challenged." Spot-and-stalk is standard, but ground blinds can be arranged. This isn't a lodge operation—expect tents and ATVs for covering ground and field work.
Home-cooked meals by Norma Romero are part of the package. Peter's philosophy: "Come as a friend, leave as part of the family." This is a working outfitter operation, not a dude ranch.
