Mark Crump has been hunting elk for over 30 years and guiding hunters in New Mexico for the past 14 years as a licensed outfitter. His focus is simple: deliver hunts people remember and talk about for decades.

Rebel Ranch Outfitters runs fully guided hunts September through December across New Mexico's most productive elk units. You pick your weapon and commitment level:

• •5-day spot and stalk hunts — archery, rifle, or muzzleloader
• •7-day archery hunts — for extended seasons
• •Semi-guided hunts — less hand-holding, more independence
• •1-on-1 or 2-on-1 guide ratios — your choice
• •Guaranteed landowner tags — available when the draw doesn't work out

Also available: deer, pronghorn antelope, and aoudad hunts. Add a bear hunt to archery trips at no extra charge (license and tag fees apply).

Operations cover the Gila region in units 12, 13, 15, 16A, 16B, and 16D—areas known for producing the quality trophy elk New Mexico is famous for. The team knows both public lands and several large private ranches intimately.

Fully outfitted hunts cover everything: food, lodging, guide, transportation in the field, field prep of game, and packing meat back to the lodge. The lodge has showers, beds, and basic comfort. Not roughing it, but not resort-level either.
