The Draw specializes in fully guided Rocky Mountain elk hunts across New Mexico, operating one of the longest-running professional outfitting teams in the state. They manage the entire process—from permit applications to field work—so you focus on the hunt.
- •Rifle & Muzzleloader (5-day hunts in Units 10, 12, 34, 36, 37, 51, 52)
- •2 hunters + 1 guide: $4,800 + tax
- •1 hunter + 1 guide: $5,800 + tax
- •October through December
- •Archery (7 or 9-day hunts, same units)
- •2 hunters + 1 guide: $4,800–$5,800 + tax
- •1 hunter + 1 guide: $5,800–$6,800 + tax
- •September season
All hunts include meals, wall tent accommodations with cots and pads, 2 days with licensed guide, and pack-out assistance.
These are moderate to extreme hunts with long days afoot or horseback. Standard western hunting methods: glassing, covering ground, and calling when conditions allow. License costs run approximately $74–$760 depending on the unit drawn.
