The club handles New Mexico's new two-year CCW requalification requirement with DPS-certified instructors on site. As of June 2023, online requalification is no longer available, making in-person range sessions mandatory. Dr. Orick-Martinez conducts regular drop-in requalification events ($20 members, $40 non-members for dual action types).
Members can bring their firearm, 50 rounds per gun, and eye/ear protection to complete certification on-site.
The club holds CMP certification, allowing members to purchase 1911 handguns directly through the Civilian Marksmanship Program—a significant advantage for 1911 enthusiasts.
