Zia Rifle & Pistol Club

Zia Rifle & Pistol Club is a private, non-profit firearms club serving the Albuquerque area with one of New Mexico's premier shooting ranges. The club is dedicated to the protection of the Second Amendment, promotion of safe shooting practices, and support of wildlife conservation.

The club hosts a wide variety of shooting disciplines and competitive events:

• •F Class 600-yard rifle matches - Long-range precision rifle competitions
• •American Rimfire Association (ARA) Benchrest - Benchrest rimfire accuracy events
• •Metallic Silhouette competitions - Including cowboy lever action, smallbore, hunter's pistol, and pistol caliber rifle variants
• •Precision Tactical Rifle training - Specialized tactical rifle instruction
• •Sporting Clays - Clay target shooting including wobble trap
• •Family Rimfire Steel - Family-friendly rimfire steel target events
• •Junior Rifle programs - Youth development and training
• •Rimfire Benchrest Silhouette - Specialized rimfire competition

Zia sponsors women's-only pistol and personal protection classes twice yearly in April and October, providing dedicated instruction for female shooters.

Open range member access allows members to shoot at their convenience during operating hours. The facility features both East and West range areas with detailed facility maps available to members.

Zia is a members-only private club. New member applications are accepted on a first-received basis with periodic orientation classes. Existing members can renew annually. The range is closed Wednesdays from 3 AM to noon for maintenance.
