Delta Firearms Training specializes in the mandatory 18-hour New York State Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) course for anyone seeking a permit. NRA-certified instructors authorized by New York State Police and multiple Western NY Sheriff Departments handle all instruction.

The course is structured around two core components:

Live-Fire Range Training - Firearm safety basics and range etiquette - Fundamentals of marksmanship - Hands-on shooting qualification

Law & Legal Liability (13+ hours) - Local, state, and federal firearms law - Moral and ethical considerations of carrying - Purchasing procedures and permit application support - Financial and legal liability of firearm ownership - Situational awareness and conflict de-escalation

You don't need to own a firearm to start. Delta provides everything needed.
