Dryden Fish & Game Club operates a full shooting facility on Johnson Road in Freeville, NY with distinct trap and rifle sections. The setup lets serious shooters work on different disciplines without conflict—though the rifle range closes when trap fields are active, so planning ahead matters.
Trap Fields - Two lighted fields (one handicap to 27 yards) - Both throw doubles - Open Monday-Saturday 8am-9pm, Sunday 10am-9pm
Rifle & Pistol Range - 200 yards long with 7 fixed shooting benches - Equipment table for loading and adjustments - Permanent wooden targets at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards (rotatable except at 200) - Hanging steel targets: 8" at 100 yards, 8" and 12" at 200 yards - Portable wooden target options - Monday-Saturday 8am-dusk, Sunday 10am-dusk - Closed Tuesday 9am-2pm, Thursday 2pm-6pm, Sunday 10am-1pm
Range Self-Governance: This is a member-run operation. The club relies on shooters to maintain the facility, enforce safety rules, and keep grounds clean. It works because members take responsibility.

Regular trap shooting every Tuesday 9am-11am and Thursday 3pm-end of day. Spring includes 50-bird shoot-offs and BBQ.

All members have responsibility to help maintain the range—report rule violations and keep grounds usable for everyone.
Eye and ear protection required. No incendiary or exploding ammunition. No glass or hard targets (ricochet risk). Commercially available metal swing targets only, used per manufacturer specs. Whatever you bring in, you take out. Breach open and unload when going downrange. Vertical fire only.
