Earnest Training Center

Earnest Training Center LLC provides firearms instruction and life-safety training to individuals and organizations across the NYC area. Founded in 2017 by Kevin Earnest, a New York State EMT with over 21 years of field experience and a decade of certified instruction, the center focuses on hands-on education and community safety.

The centerpiece of their firearms program is the 18-hour NYS Mandatory CCW course, designed specifically to meet New York State requirements for concealed carry permit applications. Instruction covers safe firearm handling, state laws, and practical skills necessary for responsible carry. The course is $450 and requires all participants to complete a liability waiver.

Beyond firearms training, Earnest offers CPR and First Aid instruction following current American Heart Association guidelines. Classes teach participants to administer CPR, artificial respiration, and emergency first aid with hands-on practice and real-world confidence. Certification is valid for two years and is valuable in both personal and professional settings.

Kevin Earnest brings 21+ years as a licensed NYS EMT and 10+ years as a certified CPR and First Aid instructor. His background in emergency response directly informs his training approach.

The center also provides pistol permit assistance for New York applicants, helping navigate the application process.
