Full description and what we offer
Evans Rod and Gun Club operates trap and skeet leagues three days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Most clubs in Western New York only run weekend trap—Evans is one of the few offering weekday access. The club is open to the public during league hours.
The trap league runs competitively with prize money awarded for both high handicap and high scratch shooters. Competitors need 8 scores by early March to qualify, with prizes and food specials on league night.
One of the only clubs in WNY with weekday trap and a full kitchen and bar
| Hours Volunteered | Annual Dues |
|---|---|
| No volunteer hours | $125 |
| 15 hours | $100 |
| 30 hours | $75 |
| Raffle work (3 days) | $50 off |
Dues are due by January 1st and must be received no later than the February meeting. Late payments after February 29 incur a $25 surcharge.
Evans operates as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving access to shooting sports and the outdoors. The club offers scholarship opportunities and maintains active community engagement through its raffle fundraiser.
Check the calendar for specific trap and skeet times—they're posted by season and day. Archery shoots require registration (8am–2pm on event days).
