Falconer Rod & Gun Club is a membership organization that's been part of Chautauqua County's shooting culture for over a century. Founded August 22, 1922 with 507 charter members, the club was incorporated September 1, 1933 and purchased its current land in 1951 for $2,300. That original mission—protecting fish, game, and birds in the county—still guides their conservation and hunter education work today.
"Whereas, it has become necessary for the protection, propagation and preservation of fish in the waters, game in the forests, and song, game and insectivorous birds in the fields and woods of Chautauqua County, that an association should exist for such purpose." — Original Charter, 1922
The club sits on rural grounds near Falconer and Jamestown, surrounded by mature oak and maple trees. It's a working shooting facility with multiple disciplines:

Skeet is open to the public on set days. Winter leagues form seasonally—contact Dan Kavanaugh at 716-485-1907 or Charlie Lombardo at 716-450-0621 to join the skeet team.
