Indoor Range and Lessons - Westchester Archery

Westchester Archery operates a climate-controlled 25-yard indoor range on the Paladin Center Campus in Carmel that's adjustable down to 10 or 15 yards—useful when you're working with newer shooters or setting up for specific practice distances.

The pro shop stocks everything from compound and recurve bows to crossbows, custom arrows, broadheads, sights, releases, bow cases, and hunting optics. If they don't have it, they'll order it. You can customize and order Elite bows directly through their website and have them shipped to Westchester Archery.

Their on-site bow tech handles the technical side:

• •Cam timing and orientation checks
• •Full tuning services for compound, recurve, and crossbows
• •String and cable replacements (recommended every 2 years)
• •Custom bow strings and cables with color options
• •Arrow building and repair for hunting or target use
• •Nock height, tiller, and center shot setup
• •Full cleaning and lubrication

Westchester Archery hosts DEC-certified courses:

• •Hunter Education - Required for first-time hunters using firearms or archery for any game
• •Bowhunter Education - Required for bow and arrow hunting of deer and bear (crossbow hunters and other game have different requirements)
