Sullivan County Conservation Club is a premier shooting and conservation organization serving the Monticello, New York area since 1967. Located on 33 acres in Bethel, NY, this member-supported club combines recreational shooting opportunities with active wildlife conservation and youth education programs.
The club maintains rifle and pistol ranges available to full members. Beyond traditional target shooting, Sullivan County Conservation Club is deeply committed to youth shooting sports development, including:
Beyond recreational shooting, the club actively promotes wildlife habitat improvement through fish stocking, stream cleanups, pheasant reintroduction programs, and deer browse cutting. This dual focus on shooting sports and environmental stewardship makes Sullivan County Conservation Club unique among regional ranges.
The facility operates as a membership-based club. Members gain access to rifle and pistol ranges, the clubhouse facility, and all club events and activities. Monthly membership meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month. Non-members interested in participating should contact the club about membership opportunities and requirements.
The clubhouse and ranges are located at 140 Kortright Road, Monticello, NY 12701 (2 miles past the Racino on Route 17B, turn right onto Coopers Corners Road).
