Their indoor range accommodates handgun, shotgun, and rifle shooters with two dedicated shooting lanes. Target retrieval system lets you set distances at 3, 5, 7, or 10 yards. Ammunition velocity limited to 3,000 FPS—all ammo purchased on-site, no outside rounds allowed. Steel core, steel jacketed, tracer, and incendiary rounds prohibited.

Core Training Courses:

• •Handgun Fundamentals ($150) — Non-live-fire class using simulated semi-auto handguns. No NYS license required. Covers grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, loading/unloading, and firearm safety in a stress-free environment. Small class sizes. Held at classroom location (313 Ushers Road, Ballston Lake, NY).

• •NY Handgun Safety Course (18 hours total: 16 classroom + 2 range qualification) — Mandatory state course for handgun permit applicants. Covers firearm safety protocols, proper handling and storage, loading/unloading, situational awareness, and legal responsibilities under NYS law. Meets and exceeds state requirements.

• •Basic Handgun — Live-fire training covering firearm safety, grip techniques, loading/unloading, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and accuracy drills. For new owners and those refining technique.

• •Intermediate Handgun — Advanced live-fire course focusing on shooting mechanics, target acquisition, speed, and performance under various conditions. Prepares shooters for qualifications, competitions, or recreational target shooting.

• •Basic Long Gun (Rifle/Shotgun) — Covers essential firearm safety, proper handling, zeroing techniques, shooting mechanics, stance, trigger control, and sight alignment for rifles and shotguns.

• •Byrna Launcher Orientation & Training — Hands-on introduction to safe and practical use of the Byrna less-lethal launcher. Covers loading, handling, deployment, carry and storage considerations. Practice with inert rounds. All equipment provided; bring your own if you prefer.

• •HR218/LEOSA Qualification — Required annual qualification for retired law enforcement officers under the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act. Maintains nationwide concealed carry privileges.

• •Utah Concealed Carry Permit (CFP) — 4-hour class covering the multi-state permit accepted in up to 34 states. Includes class instruction, passport photo, and fingerprinting. Utah application fee ($87) not included. Disclaimer: Utah permit does NOT allow carry in New York State; you must have a valid NYS Pistol Permit to possess a pistol in NYS.
