Buffalo Revolver & Rifle Club has served Erie County shooters since 1930. Located in West Seneca just off Union Road near Route 400, BR&R is a member-only facility that welcomes families, recreational shooters, and competitive competitors.
The indoor facility features: - 10 shooting lanes, 50 feet deep - Automatic target retrieval systems - Modern ventilation system - Reloads allowed - On-site certified Range Officers (NRA, CMP, or both) - Lifetime memberships available (board approval required)
BR&R's all-inclusive permit class covers: - 16 hours classroom training + 2 hours live-fire (18 hours total over two days) - Training certificate required for NY State concealed carry application - Also covers Florida and Arizona permit requirements - Includes printed photos, fingerprint cards, pre-labeled envelopes, and completion certificates - Fingerprinting arranged through IdentoGO after course - Cost: $400 | Next session: January 24-25, 2026 - Cancellation policy: Free reschedule or refund with $25 fee if canceled 48+ hours prior

Three-level progressive course in a non-intimidating environment:
Level 1 - Safety Foundation - Firearm safety fundamentals - Semi-auto operation - Revolver operation - Loading/unloading procedures - Hands-on practice
Level 2 - Shooting Essentials - Shooting stance and grip - Sight alignment and picture - Dry fire technique - Drawing from concealment - Hands-on practice
Level 3 - Live Fire - Range commands - Clearing malfunctions - Live fire exercises
Comprehensive rifle course covering: - Firearm safety rules - Rifle components and operation - Stance, grip, aiming, trigger control - Safe handling and storage - Cleaning and maintenance - Accuracy drills and guided practice
Flexible scheduling available—select your own date and time after registration.
One-on-one or small group instruction for shooters wanting to refine performance. Prerequisite: completion of fundamentals training.
Held at three locations (Tonawanda Sportsman Club, Niagara County Range, Ten-X Range). All new shooters welcome. Sign up 30 minutes before 9 AM start. Unlimited shoot-aheads. 30-round NRA National Match Course for .22 rimfire and centerfire.
In-house summer league running 10 weeks (May-August) with awards dinner. Monday nights at 6:30 PM. All skill levels welcome. Informal practice shoots 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 9 AM. - Firearms: Revolver or pistol (.32 cal or larger), loaded with 6 rounds - Holster: Straight draw hip holster only - Equipment: 4 magazines (autos) or 3 speed loaders (revolvers) - Modified B-29 and B-27 target courses - Must complete 7 matches for dinner/awards eligibility

All firearms must be checked by Range Officer before use. "Safety flags" placed in actions on firing line. Dry firing only on line pointed at backstop. Loading/unloading only on firing line. Eye and ear protection mandatory.
Only .22 rimfire and pistol-caliber firearms permitted. No rifle-caliber pistols. Approved paper targets only. Rifles must have actions open until on firing line; pistols must be cased unless holstered until on firing line.
Member-only facility with flexible membership options. Guests must be accompanied by members on firing line. Members must sign all guests in before range fees are charged.
Range fees apply per visit. Membership renewals and updates available online.
