Full description and what we offer
Allen Brothers Outdoors started in 2000 when brothers Ronald and Joe Allen came home from a Texas hunt and realized they could build something special on their family land in Bladen County. What began as a small quail operation has grown into one of North Carolina's most complete outdoor destinations—combining a full-service gun store, 12-room lodge, and 800+ acres of pristine hunting habitat.
Today they host everyone from local families to NFL players and national figures, and their operation includes three distinct hunting seasons, an on-site gunsmith, and a clubhouse that handles corporate retreats and family events.
English-style driven hunts where birds launch from a specially designed tower while hunters position themselves around the field. Allen Brothers runs 25-30 tower shoots per year, and guests consistently call these their favorite experience. Professional guides, bird cleaning, clubhouse access, and meals (with lodge stay) all included.
Traditional Southern-style bobwhite hunts through carefully managed habitat. Trained bird dogs flush coveys across the preserve. Half-day or full-day options available. Groups run 1-6 hunters with professional guides.
Fast-paced mourning dove hunts across managed fields during prime September and October flight times. Afternoon hunts designed for both experienced and newer shooters. Groups and corporate outings welcome.
Skeet, 5-stand, and sporting clays courses available year-round. Shotgun rentals on-site, ammunition stocked in their gun store.
"When you walk into Allen Brothers, you feel like you just walked into your family's house. They either have what you are looking for or they will do their best to get it for you." — Google Review
The gun store operates as a separate operation from the hunting preserve, but it's integrated into the same property. Customers call it "The Outdoorsman's Candy Store."
