Own Hunting North Carolina - Six Runs Plantation?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Six Runs Plantation operates as a working farm designed specifically for wild bobwhite quail hunting. Located between Raleigh and Wilmington, the property features 50 different breeding plots planted with Egyptian wheat, grain sorghum, partridge peas, lespedezas, and millet—creating ideal concentrations of game birds across pine groves and broomsedge fields.
While bobwhite is the main attraction, the plantation holds strong populations of mallard and wood ducks (thanks to beaver ponds along Six Runs River), wild turkeys, deer, ring neck pheasant, and chukar partridge.
Hunts are guided by professionals with some of the finest English and Irish setters in the region—many campaigned in national competitions. Most hunts depart in Toyota 4Runners (3 hunters per vehicle), though walkers can hike or ride Tennessee walking horses. Trap shooting available to sharpen your shot.
