NC Concealed Carry Certification - Full-day course: 8 hours classroom + 2 hours range time - Written exam and weapons qualification included - State-mandated training by NC Department of Justice - $100 per person — handgun rentals available if you don't have your own - Class runs 9am–7pm with everything provided: curriculum textbook, targets, eye/ear protection

Performance Pistol Concepts is a state-certified training provider. After completing their course and passing the exam, you apply at your county sheriff's office with: - Certificate of completion - NC driver's license/ID + proof of residence - Two sets of fingerprints (taken by sheriff) - Mental health release authorization - Fee (~$90, varies by county)
