Rockingham County Gun Club sits on 572 Longbranch Rd in Reidsville and operates as a private, member-only facility—but non-members can participate in scheduled matches. This is a 501(c)(7) non-profit social club built for serious shooters.
Members access the facility 365 days a year from dawn until dusk. Annual dues run $150 for regular members, $75 for seniors (65+) and 100% military disabled veterans. Your membership card must be worn and visible at all times on club grounds.
Shotgun Ranges: - Six trap fields with Canterbury and ERAD voice releases. Trap #6 is a wobble trap, Trap #3 throws doubles. Air-conditioned stat house with open shelter. - Three skeet fields with Laporte model 185 traps - One five-stand on Skeet Field #1 with six traps: three standard, two vertical (rabbit/chandelle capable), one battue
Rifle & Pistol Ranges: - 200-yard range with 20 covered benches, target boards at 100 and 200 yards, plus a 30' x 80' loading/cleaning shelter with concrete floor - 50-yard rimfire range with 10 covered benches, reactive targets at 25 and 50 yards - Rimfire plinking pit with sheltered picnic table, shooting benches, two target boards, and reactive targets - Utility range with 25 and 50-yard target boards - Three pistol pits with steel targets: Dueling Tree, Plate Racks, Texas Star, and reactive silhouettes. Paper target backers supplied.

The clubhouse features a large auditorium, Board room, office, lounge, full kitchen, and restrooms. First aid supplies and AED units are stationed in the Trap Stat House, Skeet Stat House, and Club House.
Bring Guests: Members can bring up to 2 guests for pistol/rifle (you must supervise within arm's length), up to 4 guests for skeet/trap (they make up a squad). After 3 visits, guests must join the club.
Eye and ear protection mandatory. No alcohol or illegal drugs on property. No fully automatic firearms. Shoot only during daylight. Guns open when moving between stations, unloaded in racks. No one under 16 in trap/skeet houses. Shot size capped at 7½. All ranges have specific loading rules: trap allows 1-2 shells depending on singles/doubles, skeet allows max 2 shells at stations 1-7 (1 at station 8 unless low 8 option), five-stand allows max 2 with two shots per target.
You must clean up your brass and targets before leaving. Stat house logbooks track rounds shot and require prompt payment. Speed limit on grounds: 10 mph. Handicap parking available at centerfire range and utility pit (state permit required).
