Full description and what we offer

SilentArms began in 2015 as a suppressor manufacturer, but after wrestling with manufacturing regulations and insurance, the owner pivoted to what he does best: gunsmithing and firearms customization. Now they're known for precise CNC machining, transfers, and partnerships with top Cerakote applicators.

  • Barrel Threading — Around $80 for stripped barrels. Preps your rifle for suppressors or flash hiders.
  • CNC Pistol Slide Porting — Weight reduction, porting for new barrels, or full custom aesthetics. Check their gallery for examples.
  • Pistol Optic Cuts — RMR, RMRcc, Docter/Noblex, and Holosun 407K/507K cuts. Solves the factory problem.
  • Pistol Sight Replacement — Professional installation. They handle stubborn sights and can fix dovetail scratching with spot bluing or full Cerakote.
  • Custom Stock Inletting — M5 pattern machining for Badger Ordnance, Grayboe, Williams, or Surgeon bottom metal. They work with Swift Creek Rifles for bedding and floating.
  • Transfers — $20 flat rate for up to 10 firearms in a single transaction. Registered on hundreds of gun sites. 3.5% card fee if you pay plastic.

"Without hesitation he helped me troubleshoot problems with my build and even offered to give me a small part I thought I needed, until he had me bring my build over where he helped to solve the issue for me himself."

Repeated customer reviews mention Kevin's willingness to go beyond the job scope—troubleshooting builds, explaining work in detail, fixing things without nickel-and-diming.

They have partnerships with Currahee Coatings and Big Oak Coatings, both east coast applicators. If you need custom machining followed by a professional coating, they can handle the whole pipeline.

You'll find them quarterly at Dixie Gun and Knife shows if you want to meet them in person.
