Drop Camp Hunt (5-12 Days) For hunters who want to rough it. Complete tent camp is set up in prime elk, deer, and bear habitat. You bring food, sleeping bag, foam pad, personal gear, rifle, and license. Save 25% if you provide and set up your own camp gear.

Game Pack Out Service If you harvest an animal but need help packing it out: $850 per animal, plus $100/hour after 6 hours. Wranglers pack out quartered game; additional animal prep costs extra.
Storm Peak Mountain Lodge sits on 46 acres backing directly to the San Juan National Forest. Two lodge buildings accommodate up to 22 and 30 guests. The working ranch includes rolling hills, woodlands, creek frontage, river access, and maintained trails. Beyond hunting season, the property hosts fishing, hiking, weddings, and family reunions.
Storm Peak provides detailed gear lists covering: - Hunting apparel (brands like First Lite, Stone Glacier, Kuiu, Schnees boots, Crispi boots) - Shelter and sleep systems (Seek Outside, Stone Glacier, Kifaru packs) - Navigation (Garmin GPS, quality binoculars 10x42) - Weapons (300 Win Mag minimum, Berger bullets recommended) - Field care (Argali or Caribou game bags, PEAX headlamps)
They offer seminars on pack loading, glassing tactics, nutrition/hydration, and backcountry first aid/EMT/rescue preparation.
