Valkyrie Airsoft Events runs military simulation games designed to test more than just your trigger finger. Founded by Brennan Kahn and Robert Martinez, the organization started as a group of friends attending local and national airsoft events, then evolved into hosting their own large-scale operations.
Valkyrie hosts regular operations across the Southeast, primarily in North Carolina:

All tickets include $15 air pass credit, free primitive camping, and event patch for first 250 registrations.
Valkyrie doesn't mess around. They enforce comprehensive rules with consistent enforcement:
Pre-game clarity matters. Contact Valkyrie ahead of time if your loadout isn't listed in approved patterns.
Weapons are organized by energy output (Joules) and role:
Semi-auto only, mid-cap mags. Examples: M4, M16, AK47, SCAR, G36. Underslung launchers allowed.
Semi-auto only, must have magnified scope and bipod. Caliber higher than 5.56 (SR25, AR10, M14). 75ft minimum engagement distance. No launchers.
Full-auto capped at 20 BBs/second. Box mag LMGs only (SAWs, M249s, RPKs, M60s). Two box mags maximum on field. 50ft MED.
Bolt-action or semi-locked only. Mid-cap only. 100ft MED. Sidearm pistol only. Examples: Barrett .50 cal, .308 bolt actions, VSR10, Dragunov.
Small caliber (9mm). Shotguns max 6 BBs per pump. No more than 20 rounds/sec for SMG.
No chrono needed for most. HPA, electric, gas, CO2 all allowed. No drum mags or magazine adapters.
Medic System: - Limited to 2 medics per squad (squad lead + 1 medic with ID patch) - Players carry 2 tourniquets (bandages, rope, MSW—no scrunchies) - Third "death" = mandatory 5-minute bleed-out - Medics swap ID cards only at squad HQ
Hit Recognition: - Dead players yell "HIT" loudly and take a knee - 5-minute minimum bleed-out before respawn - Friendly fire counts - Gun hits don't eliminate players but must be called - Overshooting (5+ BBs on same target) results in band marking and potential ejection
Grenades & Explosives: - 15ft kill radius (hits outside radius still count) - Enola Gaye smokes or cold-burn pyro only - Sound grenades, foam rockets approved - TAGinn rounds site-approved (no pecker rounds ever) - No melee, no "bang-bang" rule, no safety kills
Vehicle Combat: - Pre-approved technicals only - First grenade disables movement (turret still fires) - Second grenade kills vehicle (within 5 minutes) - Max 3 shooters per technical (1 main turret, 2 inside) - 10ft minimum distance while moving - Drivers must be 18+, valid license, proof of insurance - Fire extinguisher and first aid kit required - Max 5 MPH off-road, 10 MPH on-road - 10-minute cooldown period after respawn
Everyone must have: - Signed waiver - Wrist band and medical emergency card - Dead rag + dead light - 2x medic bandages - Chrono clearance - Event patch visible during play - Full seal eye pro
No walk-ons. Pre-registration required unless event page specifies otherwise.
Refund policy: Active military only (with proof of assignment). Weather, rule violations, chrono failures = no refunds.

Valkyrie enforces this strictly. Verbal abuse, physical contact, overshooting, arguing with referees—all grounds for removal without refund. Referee decisions are final.
