Dakota Rifle Co. started as a knife and outdoor gear outfit before acquiring their FFL in 2017 and opening a physical storefront in Dickinson in October 2023. It's a family operation that deliberately sources from small businesses instead of stocking items you'd find at chain stores.

They focus on products with actual value rather than competing on volume pricing against big-box retailers. Don't have something in stock? They can order most items.
No full gunsmithing work, but they handle:
- •Scope mounting
- •Firearm cleaning
- •Sight-ins
- •The owner has hands-on experience with long-range shooting and reloading, and will help customers in those areas.
Dakota Rifle Co. hosts two competitions:

Located in Dickinson (25K population, west side of ND), just east of Runnings.
They cannot ship firearms directly to consumers. You'll need a local FFL to receive transfers. Your local dealer will charge a transfer fee at pickup.
