Flint Ridge Outfitters

Flint Ridge Outfitters operates across Licking and Muskingum counties in East Central Ohio, approximately 45 minutes east of Columbus. These two counties have consistently produced the bulk of Ohio's trophy whitetail deer. The outfitter manages 40-600 acre privately-owned properties with terrain ranging from gently rolling farmland to steep ridges and valleys.

• •5-day hunt packages (arrive after 2 PM day before, depart morning after final hunt day)
• •Tree stands positioned 18-22 feet high in travel routes, food areas, and funnels
• •All-day sit comfort prioritized during the rut
• •Stands and ground blinds hung in August to minimize property disturbance
• •Limited gun and muzzleloader openings available
• •Muzzleloader hunts: January 4-7

Safety Requirements: - Safety belts REQUIRED for all tree stand hunting (no homemade belts) - Flint Ridge provides belts if needed - Hunters unwilling to wear safety equipment will be asked to leave

Pre-Hunt Preparation: - Regular practice required before arrival - 60-yard range available at lodge for practice - Staff can repair bow malfunctions (seasoned staff with tools and knowledge) - Mechanical broadheads permitted

First-Time Hunters: - Ohio requires hunter safety course completion to purchase license - Proof of course completion or previous license with government ID required
