The Izaak Walton League of America - Cincinnati Chapter is a longstanding conservation organization serving the Southwest Ohio community since 1944. Located at 544 Branch Hill-Loveland Road in Loveland, this chapter is dedicated to conserving, maintaining, protecting, and restoring soil, forest, water, and natural resources.
The Cincinnati Chapter focuses on environmental education and citizen science initiatives that engage the community in conservation efforts. Their primary goal is to provide an active and educated membership base to achieve meaningful environmental protection and stewardship.
The chapter holds General Membership Dinners and Meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (6:30 pm dinner, 7:30 pm meeting) at the lodge. Directors' meetings occur on the 4th Tuesday of each month. The organization also offers a custom bourbon for sale, with proceeds supporting their Saturday Snapshot Program.
The Cincinnati Chapter's location on the shores of the Little Miami River, designated as a National Scenic River through their advocacy efforts, represents a major community achievement and commitment to environmental protection.
