Louka Tactical has been training shooters since 1999—the largest female-owned and operated training company in the industry. Co-owner Lou Ann Hamblin brings 22 years of law enforcement experience including uniform work, undercover operations, and a special DEA assignment. She holds a master's degree in performance technology from the University of Michigan and has trained over 6,500 women in pistol classes alone.
Their signature course is Developmental Marksmanship for the Pistol Shooter, designed to build shooting fundamentals through heavy range time and minimal classroom instruction. The curriculum focuses on:
Classes are capped at 10 participants to ensure personalized instruction and direct feedback from the instructors.
Lou Ann is a certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor across multiple disciplines. She's an H&K Master Pistol Instructor and Team One Network adjunct instructor. She presents internationally at major conferences including A Girl and A Gun (AGAG), ILEETA, and IALEFI. In 2025, she received ILEETA's Legacy Award for her 30-year contribution to law enforcement training.
