In 1997, Allan and Dale Mack turned their passion for hunting and shooting sports into a manufacturing business. Growing up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, both brothers built and modified guns in their spare time. They started Horizon Machine Inc. with a single CNC machine and themselves as the only employees.

26 years later, they've scaled to a 30,000 square foot facility with over 40 CNC machines and 24 full-time staff members. In 2007, they launched Mack Brothers to design and sell their own firearms products.

Mack Brothers offers three main suppressor lines, each engineered for specific use cases:

Vapor Rimfire Suppressor — 100% titanium construction rated for .22 LR, .22 Mag, .17 HMR, and 5.7×28. Weighs just 4.3 oz, 5 3/8" long. User-disassembled for field cleaning. $420

Zenith Suppressor — 30 caliber magnum-rated with a fully welded baffle stack (no main tube). Titanium construction, 9 oz, 6 1/4" long. Comes with industry-standard 1 3/8"-24 muzzle cap plus interchangeable adapters. $850

Helium Suppressor — Centerfire .30 cal with titanium body and 17-4 stainless blast baffle. Quick detach or direct thread mount options. 13.5-15 oz depending on config, 7.25-8" long. $799-$850

In 2024, Mack Brothers ceased production on MB762 (.30 cal) and MB556 (.223) suppressors but continues to service and repair them.

Built on the Remington 700 footprint with meaningful upgrades:

Mack Brothers operates Horizon Machine Inc., their parent CNC facility. What started as precision engineering for suppressors evolved into a full-service shop:
