Full description and what we offer
Founded in 1949, North Industry Sportsmen's Club operates 164 acres of prime hunting and shooting land in Navarre, Ohio. This is a members-only club that runs like a well-oiled machine—work requirements, seasonal schedules, regular meetings, and a clear set of rules that everyone follows.
Hunting Opportunities - Pheasant hunting: The club releases 500 ring neck rooster pheasants each November and December. Members who complete 20 work hours per year pay a $100 assessment and can hunt twice per week (or three times if you hit 100+ hours). Half-day hunts only (8am-noon or 1pm-5pm). Up to 8 hunters per session. - Turkey hunting: Spring season for members with 20+ work hours. $10 assessment. Limited to 2 hunters at a time. - Youth pheasant hunt: Free public hunt on the first Sunday of pheasant season. Limited to 25 kids, requires valid hunting license and reservation. - Archery deer hunting: Pending Ohio game law releases each year.
Work Hour Requirement: Members must complete 20 work hours per year to participate in seasonal hunting. This keeps the property maintained and the community invested.
Fishing - 2-acre stocked pond with bass, bluegill, catfish, and yellow perch - Fishing derby events scheduled seasonally - Check club rulebook for specific regulations
Shooting Ranges - Rifle ranges at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards - Pistol range at 50 feet - Archery ranges - Three trap ranges (used for trap league and sporting clays)
Bring 125 shells for a 100-clay round. Extra shells cover re-attempts on "no bird" situations and give you buffer room.

Start at the clubhouse with registration and payment. First station is on the trap range—bring your gun and gear to save a trip. Keep your action open and gun unloaded until you're in the box with the barrel over the bar. Your trapper will call "True pair!" or "Report pair!" and "Trapper ready!" before you load. Call "Pull!" and shoot. If you get a "no bird" (target breaks on its own coming out), you reattempt. Most targets are broken with improved cylinder or skeet chokes using #7-1/2 or #8 shot. No loads larger than 1-1/8 ounce allowed. Keep six or fewer shooters per squad for pace of play. Only the first shooter sees show birds. You keep your own score. Tip your trapper if you had a good time.
North Industry Sportsmen's Club is membership-driven and deeply rooted in the Navarre and northeastern Ohio shooting and hunting community. New member inquiries should contact the officers directly.
