Sycamore Sporting Clays has been a Loveland institution for over 70 years, running clay shooting courses and hosting events on 6245 Lower Lewis Rd. It's a small operation run by dedicated shooters who handle operations alongside their day jobs. No NRA membership required to join, and walk-ins are always welcome.
The club operates two courses: - 100 Target Valley - 100 Target Hillside
Both are walking courses, though carts are allowed on certain stations. You need to be on course by 4:30 PM on weekdays and 2:00 PM on weekends.

Members get $10 off each shooting session plus access to special events like private shoots and bourbon tastings. At least three Wednesdays per year, members get free hors d'oeuvres and drinks after regular-priced shoots (3–6 PM). October brings a member appreciation weekend with complimentary lunch.
Shooting Fees (Non-Members): - 100 targets: $55 - 75 targets: $50 - 50 targets: $45 - Smaller amounts available at half price
Members pay $10 less per session.
The club sells 12 and 20 gauge shotgun shells at market price ($10/box for 12-gauge, $11/box for 20-gauge). No rental guns available, but shot size cannot exceed 7½.

Sycamore works as both a shooting club AND standalone event venue—not just for clay shoots.

Venue Capacity: - Indoor clubhouse: 50 people comfortably - Outdoor pavilion: 110 people comfortably - Parking: 75+ vehicles
Facilities: - Full kitchen - Outdoor wood-burning grill - 108" projector and screen in clubhouse - WiFi - Fireplaces in both clubhouse and pavilion - Multiple restrooms - Clearly marked, graveled walking paths
No required caterer—bring your own or use their kitchen and grill. They've partnered with Steppingstone, Better Business Bureau, Boys & Girls Club, and others on charity events.
April through Mid-December: Thursday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Closed Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving)
Large charity or corporate shoots may close the club to general public on certain days. Walk-ins welcome, but reservations encouraged, especially for groups.

Cash, checks, or credit cards (3.5% convenience fee).
No minimum age, but youth under 18 or attending college shoot at half price when accompanied by a responsible adult. Must be physically able to handle a shotgun.
