Meadow Ridge MetroPark opened its archery range on October 1, 2024, giving archers a rare resource: completely free access to a public shooting facility. It's only the second free public archery range in Butler County.
Range Details: - Open daily from 8am to dusk during regular park hours - Completely unsupervised—use at your own risk - Targets and frames donated by Young Guns Archery and a local Eagle Scout
What's Allowed: - Bow and crossbow only - Paper or fabric target faces (remove when finished) - Standard field tips only - Broadheads and razor-tipped arrows prohibited
Supervision Requirements: Anyone under 18 must have direct visual supervision by an adult 21+. Pets are not allowed.
Bring your own equipment—the range provides targets but you supply the bow and arrows.
