Leipsic Fishing & Hunting Association started in 1938 in Leipsic, Ohio and relocated to their current 80-acre property in Ottawa in 1956. Today they operate as a non-profit with over 900 active members dedicated to conservation, sportsmanship, safety, and proper wildlife management.
The club's facilities include:
- •Rifle Range with shooting stations at 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard distances
- •Bow Range with targets at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard marks
- •TechnoHunt Archery Simulator (call Kevin at 419-796-9524 or Rodney at 567-376-9448 to book)
- •Two Stocked Fishing Ponds with catch-and-release encouraged
- •Deluxe Clubhouse available for member events and private rentals
- •Shelter House for group gatherings

Food and beverages are available on-site during trap shoots. The Ray Spangler Memorial Trap Shoot draws over 100 participants annually.
- •First Year: $40 annual dues + $15 initiation fee
- •Renewal: $40 per year
- •Rejoining: $50
Dues deadline is February 28th; late fees apply after that date. New members welcome—contact the club or download a membership form to join.
The club enforces strict safety standards across all ranges:
- •Rifle Range: Members only (16+ or accompanied by adult), no alcohol, no rapid fire, paper targets only, no shooting above bunkers or into the ground. Violators lose membership.
- •Bow Range: Bag targets and sand pits only, no broadheads in bag targets, bows and crossbows only—no firearms.
- •Fishing: 10 fish per day limit with species restrictions (bluegill 5"+, bass/walleye/trout 15"+, catfish 15"+).

Clubhouse and facility rentals available. The club is directed by four officers, three trustees, and various committees, with elections held each January.
