Mead Hall Range

MeadHall Range started from a simple frustration: most outdoor ranges are hot, dusty, and poorly equipped. Indoor ranges are loud and limited. They built something different—a private facility designed around what instructors and serious students actually need.

The range runs 10 lanes of turner targets plus 2 movers, all controlled via an app that lets instructors set custom presentation times and movement patterns for specific training scenarios. Flood lighting covers the pistol area. When instructors need distance work, the range stretches to 300 yards with a rappel tower and elevated shooting position at 200 yards.

Steel targets include two plate racks, Spartan Armor Systems Critical Hit targets, Sniper's Paradise targets, a dueling tree, and AR500 steel throughout. Paper targets and paster boxes at every station.

Clean, climate-controlled bathrooms with individual stalls and gear hooks. A 20×25 shade structure with an insulated roof, 4 tables, electrical outlets, and fans—actually usable shade. Full onsite classroom with AV, kitchen, and a firearms simulator for dry-fire training and scenario work. Combatives layout available.

Courses are taught by Bill Armstrong (NRA certified, RangeMaster Advanced and Master instructor with certifications in defensive shotgun, DTI, Force Science, and more) and visiting expert instructors from Presscheck Consulting, Shivworks, Sentinel Concepts, Citizens Safety Academy, and others.

Located in Pottawatomie County, approximately one hour east of Will Rogers World Airport in Mcloud, OK. Corporate rates available at the Grand Casino (3 miles away) and Hampton Inn in Shawnee (15 minutes). The facility operates by appointment only for approved groups, law enforcement, and certified instructors.
