Quail Ridge Sporting Clays

Quail Ridge Sporting Clays sits on Highway 102 North in McLoud and operates two graveled course trails with up to 20 different stations each. The courses wind through forest and field, designed for shooters from novice to competitive level. Before you hit the main courses, warm up at the practice shooting range and wobble trap.

Brian Hughes heads up the training program. He's a world and national title winner with a team of instructors available for private training sessions. You can book time to work on technique or prepare for competitions.

• •Safety first: Eye and ear protection required at all times. No alcohol. Shot size limited to 7½, 8, or 9 only. No tactical or home defense-style firearms (minimum 24" barrel with full-length stock). Load only at designated stations with muzzle downrange—max 2 shells at a time.

• •Bring: Gun, ammunition, safety glasses, ear protection, range bag, shell bags.
