Katelyn believes the next generation of hunters deserve the same quality experience she had growing up. Youth hunts are discounted and available for:

  • General season blacktail deer (private/public land)
  • Spring & fall turkey (private land)
  • Spring/fall black bear (private/public land)
  • Controlled Applegate Unit blacktail hunts (private land from ground blind)

Youth must be accompanied by a parent and hold a current Hunter Education Certificate.

For DIY hunters who want professional intel without a guide. You get OnX waypoints showing animal movement patterns, bedding and feeding areas, water sources, rubs, rutting grounds, and trail systems across Chetco, Tioga, Applegate, and Powers units.

Huntfluent hosts an annual ladies-only elk calling clinic (4th annual in 2024) teaching bugle and diaphragm calling techniques, Roosevelt vs. Rocky Mountain elk differences, field setup strategy, and hunting scenarios. Includes rifle and archery practice. Clinic fee is $200 and includes calls, training materials, and gear.
