New Salem Baptist Church Outdoor Ministries runs this annual 3D archery shoot—a free event welcoming all ages and experience levels.
20 targets set at designated distances for each class. Participants shoot from a shotgun start at 9am, working through the course in groups on their designated starting points.
Free breakfast (biscuit of your choice) starts at 6:30am with practice rounds and registration. Mandatory safety meeting at 8am.
- •Cub Class (13 & under)
- •Youth (14-18)
- •Women (open to any qualified shooter)
- •Bowhunter (hunting bows, fixed sights, short stabilizers)
- •Unlimited (target sights, magnification, long stabilizers)
- •Traditional (longbows, recurves)
Lunch provided by donation. Awards and giveaways announced. Optional iron man course follows—additional targets with one arrow per shot, added difficulty.
