Threat Dynamics operates from Sherwood, Oregon, offering concealed handgun licensing courses that go beyond Oregon's state requirements. Their CHL class qualifies you for Oregon, Utah, and Arizona permits simultaneously—no need to take separate courses in each state. The course takes about 4.5 hours and includes both shooting and written components.

They structure training in layers:

Fundamentals Level: - Basic Introduction to Handguns ($149) — designed for absolute beginners or anyone wanting formal firearms training - Women's Basic Intro to Handguns — identical curriculum in a women-only environment - No age limit on basic courses - Rental guns available if you don't own one

Intermediate Level: - Concealed Handgun Licensing (CHL/CCW permits for OR, UT, AZ) - Women's Only Intermediate Handgun — focuses on manipulation and mechanics of semi-automatic handguns - Low student-to-instructor ratios with lots of one-on-one work - Prerequisites: basic class or equivalent + at least 1 private lesson with TD instructor
