Location details and information
Jackson County Sports Park operates three distinct shooting areas under the Rogue Valley Shooting Sports Association (RVSSA). You get a historic high-power rifle range, standard public ranges at various distances, and a dedicated archery range—all accessible daily from 8 AM until roughly 30-45 minutes before sunset.
No membership required. Daily gate fee is $5 per shooter, or lock in a yearly pass:
| Pass Type | Cost | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | $5 | Single visit |
| Individual | $30/year | One shooter |
| Family | $50/year | Household + kids under 18 |
All revenue from gate and pass fees gets reinvested directly into range improvements. Cash or check only—no cards.
Three designated shooting areas with specific requirements:
No metal targets, frames, or stands allowed downrange. Target stands available for purchase at the front gate, or download the plans and build your own.
A range officer is present during all operating hours. Standard rules apply: sitting or standing positions only (no prone), mandatory cease-fire procedures, hearing and eye protection strongly recommended. Children must be supervised at all times.
On-site support: Phone at the front gate (541-292-0043) available during operating hours if you need assistance.
Private company bookings available with letter of agreement. Monthly raffle drawings for registered shooters. The complex continuously improves facilities with revenue from daily operations.
